Qur’an memorization, also known as Hifz al-Qur’an, is one of the most honored and spiritually uplifting traditions in Islam. It involves committing the entire text of the Qur’an to memory, word-for-word, letter-for-letter — preserving not just the words, but also their correct pronunciation and recitation as passed down through generations.
