🐾 The Kind Boy and the Thirsty Dog
One hot day, a young boy was walking in the desert. The sun was shining very bright, and he was feeling very tired and thirsty. After a long walk, he found a well. He climbed down, drank some water, and felt much better.
As he was about to leave, he saw a dog nearby. The dog was panting, with its tongue out, and digging in the sand, trying to find some water. The boy looked at the poor dog and thought, “This dog is thirsty just like I was!”
So, the boy climbed back down into the well. He filled his shoe with water, carried it up, and gave it to the dog. The dog drank happily, wagging its tail.
Allah loved what the boy did. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ told us that Allah forgave the boy’s sins because of his kindness to the thirsty dog.
🌸 Lesson for Kids:
Allah loves when we are kind to animals.
Animals also feel hunger, thirst, and pain.
Feeding, giving water, or protecting an animal is a way to please Allah.
