The Status of Those Who Honor the Qur’an
The Prophet ﷺ said that Allah elevates some nations through the Qur’an and brings others down because of it. From this we learn that those who recite the Qur’an with respect, follow its teachings, and uphold its rights are granted guidance and honor by Allah, even if they are not wealthy or of high worldly status. Such people are respected in this life and will be rewarded with a lofty rank in the Hereafter, In shā’ Allah.
What Should We Do?
We must change our neglectful attitude and live by the teachings of Allah and His Messenger ﷺ. By reciting and acting upon the Qur’an, we can regain our lost honor, succeed in this world, and be saved in the Hereafter, In shā’ Allah.
